On May 31, Toyota ITC, together with National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) and The University of Electro-Communications, has been awarded a contract by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) to carry out an R&D project on "Network Construction Utilizing V2V Communications Technology". This contract is part of the Research and Development for Expansion of Radio Wave Resources Program of MIC in FY2013.
